How positioning works

Each model gets three separate labels, never combined into a score. Positioning is how the vendor describes the model. Price shows where it sits among models of the same type, from $ (cheapest) to $$$$. Vendor-stated speed appears only when the vendor compares speed itself. Positioning isn't a quality ranking: a flagship isn't automatically the right fit for your work.

Positioning

Flagship
The vendor's most capable model in the family.
Balanced
The everyday pick for capability and price.
Fast
The vendor leads with speed.
Economy
The lowest-cost model in the family.

When the vendor doesn't give a positioning, we place the model by price among models of the same type and say so on its page.

Vendor-stated speed compares models within one vendor's lineup only, in the vendor's own words. It's not a latency test.
